The Fender '65 Super Reverb is a reissue of the iconic Blackface amplifiers built between 1963 and 1968. Equipped with four 10-inch Jensen speakers just like the original, this mighty combo comes with 6L6 power amp valves to guarantee an extremely tight sonic punch, and a 5AR4 rectifier valve for that delicious, vintage-style sag. Meanwhile, four 12AX7 valves take care of pre-amplification, while a pair of 12AT7 valves back up this Vintage Reissue Series powerhouse with fully authentic reverb and vibrato effects.

The Fender '65 Super Reverb: Juicy Feel and Bluesy Character

While the '65 Super Reverb is slightly less responsive than a transistor-based '70s Twin Reverb, the 4x10 speaker loadout definitely keeps the sound tight and direct.
